Welcome!

Welcome! My name is Matan Prilleltensky. I teach kids chess at New Explorations in Science, Technology, and Mathematics (NEST+M), a K-12 public school for gifted and talented students in New York City. I decided to create this blog as a professional development resource for myself and (hopefully) other chess teachers. I was trying to figure something out while working on a lesson plan and wished I could put my question out there to receive feedback. I hope to use this blog for exchanging ideas with other teachers, sharing lesson plans, and generally finding opportunities for professional collaboration.
